REVIEWSToday's Folk Art Primitives~*~Tomorrow's Antiques
Hello, my name is Traci, creator of York*Mountain*Primitives. I just wanted to share a few of my thoughts on the New ~*~ Handcrafted Primitives of Today. You will find many amazing creations in the Antiques/Primitives/1990-now category. Most of these listings are Primitives of Today but they will surely be the Antiques of Tomorrow. I myself am a Primitive Folk Artist, I take great pride in my art, making creations that will to be the Heirlooms of Tomorrow.
We all know how difficult it is to find something (well just about anything) that is Made in the USA. When purchasing a Primitive of Today, you are purchasing a handcrafted piece of Folk Art. An artist, just like myself poured their heart and soul into their creation. The Antiques we have today were created in much the same way. Whether it be a Doll, a Quilt or a Wooden Spoon, years ago someone made it, usually by hand.
So just know that 50 maybe a 100 years from now, some of the Primitives of Today will be resurfacing as the Antiques of Tomorrow. Our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will still be able to find Heirloom Quality Handcrafted Antiques years from now because of the Folk Artists of Today.
Thank You for taking the time to read my review, Wishing you Primitive Blessings~*~Traci Antiq Accents
